Liposomes are lipid spheres that allow the protection and subsequent release of Apo-lactoferrin. Apo-lactoferrin (iron-free lactferrin form) is more active than the same lactferrin (5 times) since the bond with iron is realized in the open form of apo-protein, allowing easier access to Fe ions³⁺ or complexed.
Lactoferrin is a chelating iron protein and is involved in numerous biological mechanisms. It has an iron-transporter action, belongs to the family of transferrines and is widely studied for its many beneficial effects. However, Apo-lactoferrin by its nature is unstable and is particularly sensitive to the proteolytic action of pepsina at gastric level and protein hydrolysis of pancreatine at intestinal level.
This results in a denaturation of the protein, poor absorption and its inactivation. ApoLact TDC, thanks to its modern microencapsulation technology, overcomes these problems and is the first advanced formulation that allows to guarantee the effectiveness of glycoprotein.

Ingredients
Each 550 mg capsule contains 100 mg lactferrin.

Mode of use
Take 1 capsule 1-2 times a day.
Maximum dose: 2 capsules per day.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be understood as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Lactoferrin is a protein extracted from cow's milk and therefore it is not recommended to use it in case of allergy to milk proteins.
