PIROFER

Food supplement based on iron, SunActive Fe, microencapsulated pyrophosphate iron in an emulsifier system. It can be useful to supplement iron in cases of sideropenia and also for long periods, such as pregnancy and nursing and in women with prolonged and abundant liver losses during the menstrual cycle.
SunActive Fe
It is an international patent, which has excellent organoleptic properties: is devoid of the unpleasant characteristic taste and smell of iron and is highly bioavailable and digestible. With this system the iron is highly absorbable and maintains high serum levels even after 8 hours of intake; shows high levels of “hemoglobin regeneration efficiency” in the presence of anemia. SunActive Fe is of high conformity for high gastrointestinal tolerance: does not cause irritations, a sense of heaviness and does not leave unpleasant aftertastes because it passes away the gastric environment and goes into the small intestine, where it is absorbed slowly.
Vitamin C
It facilitates the absorption of food iron, therefore it is useful in the treatment of anemia and contributes to the production of red blood cells.
Folic acid
It is necessary in the synthesis of DNA and RNA and for the production and maintenance of new cells, and is particularly important in periods of rapid growth such as childhood and pregnancy. Indicated in the prevention of certain congenital defects; decreases the risk of defects in the neuronal tube and, perhaps, other congenital malformations.

Ingredients
Protein iron (SunActive Fe); vitamin C; folic acid; excipients: corn starch; maltodextrin; fructose; antiagglomerating: silicon dioxide; sweeteners: orange aroma; acidifiers: citric acid.

Mode of use
Suggested dose:
children from 6 months to 10 years: 1 bag per day.
Adults and pregnancy: 2 sachets a day.
It is recommended to administer the dosage indicated once a day, diluted in water or liquids; Pirofer sachets, can also be administered with yogurt, milk, juices and any cold or hot drink.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
Supplements should not be understood as substitutes for a varied diet.
For pregnant or breastfeeding women and children it is recommended to feel the medical advice.
