Acufen forte is indicated as an adjuvant treatment in subjects with cerebrovascular disorders and affections that involve alterations to the hearing apparatus, such as acufens and hypoacusia. The cyticoline contributes to promoting the synthesis of phospholipids and lecithin, to increase the blood flow at the level of the brain microcirculation and to correct the altered blood lipoprotheic picture. The ubichinol, bioavailable metabolite of the coenzyme Q10, has antioxidant properties and membrane stabilizers, thus helping to preserve the integrity of cells.
