Dentifricio elmex Junior for children aged 6 to 12, specially designed for specific needs during tooth change. The new permanent teeth, which begin to appear around six years, are particularly exposed to caries because the dental enamel initially is still porous and relatively tender. A higher concentration of fluoride promotes the process of hardening teeth, thus increasing the resistance of teeth to acid aggression and the resulting risk of caries. Thanks to the specific characteristics of amino fluorides contained in the toothpaste, the protection from the caries is also ensured for several hours after brushing the teeth. The delicate taste stimulates children to pass from toothpaste children, with a lower fluoride content, to a product with a fluoride concentration suitable for their age.
