Mode of use
Before the temperature is detected, check that the value indicated by the liquid column is less than 36°C. Clean the glass thermometer before and after use. Observe warnings for cleaning. Place the thermometer on the body, depending on the type of measurement you want (abcellar, rectal and oral). After about 4 minutes the thermometer detects the body temperature. The measuring liquid in the thermometer capillary indicates the body temperature detected on the temperature scale. The temperature reading can be facilitated by turning the thermometer slightly. After measuring the indicator liquid must be reported below 36°C. To do this, grab the upper end of the thermometer with the index and thumb and shake it with about 15-20 quick movements of the wrist.
Always disinfect the thermometer before and after use. In the hospital always perform disinfection by experienced personnel.
Oral measurement: The average normal temperature is 37°C, providing precise results quickly. The thermometer bulb is placed on the left or right under the tongue.
Rectal measurement: The average annual temperature is 37.6°C. This type of measurement is mainly used for children. The thermometer bulb is introduced in the anus (about 2 cm), applying at the end of the bulb a cream for the skin or oil for baby. You can use a protective casing the thermometer. Insert the thermometer into this casing. Spread on the enclosure a water-soluble gel to facilitate insertion. Do not use vasellina. Do not introduce the thermometer tip for more than 2 cm in the rectum. Stop the operation if you meet any resistance.
Axillary Measurement: The average annual temperature is 36.7°C. The axillary measurement method does not provide precise results such as the oral or rectal one. Rub the axilla envelope with a dry cloth. Place the thermometer bulb in the axle socket and press the arm against the bust.
Easy flip: with the Easy flip you can easily reset the measured thermometer liquid by stirring it with less strength: introduce the thermometer into the Easy flip; make sure the thermometer is fixed in the two supports; hold the Easy flip on the lever between thumb and index; shake the thermometer back and forth with strong and short movements until the liquid is reported below 36°C.

Cleaning and disinfection
The thermometer has a hygienic glass enclosure with airtight seal and it is possible to disinfect it without limits. The temperature of the detergent and disinfectant solution must not exceed 42°C. Cleaning of the glass thermometer before and after use can be done with cold soapy water. Disinfect the thermometer with an ovat beat or with a cloth soaked with alcohol or immerse the thermometer in a disinfectant solution (dip time according to the instructions of the disinfectant liquid manufacturer). In case of thermometer breakage, the spilled liquid can be grouped and removed with a brush, a cellulose cloth or a cloth cloth moistened with soapy water. The remains can be disposed of in household waste.

Warnings
Do not drop the thermometer and do not hit it. Do not bend the thermometer tip or bite it. Keep away from the reach of children. Damaged glass coating thermometers no longer need to be used, due to the risk of injury. For the entire period of use the child must always be assisted by an adult. The Galinstano measuring liquid cannot come into contact with noble or light metals, due to the risk of reaction. When measuring, be careful to avoid any risk of injury. The use of the thermometer does not replace a medical consultation. A persistent fever state, especially in children, must be subject to medical care.

Conservation
Store at temperature between -15°C and +42°C, in a dry place.
