Not containing PVC and nickel, it is suitable for subjects with sensitivity to these materials.
The product complies with the European Union Directive 2007/51/EC of 25 September 2007 since it does not contain mercury.
Instructions for use
1) Before starting the measurement, make sure that the liquid colon is below the first numbered notch (between 35 °C and 36 °C).
2) Disinfect the thermometer before and after each use.
3) Place the thermometer depending on the type of measurement (abcellar, rectal, oral).
4) After about 4 minutes the thermometer will have detected the body temperature. To read the temperature, turn the thermometer slowly back and forth. The liquid contained in the thermometer glass capillary tube indicates the body temperature displayed on the thermometric scale.
5) To reset the thermometer at the end of the measurement, hold it firmly on the opposite side of the bulb and shake it decisively by moving the wrist down from 15 to 20 times so as to reposition the liquid in the bulb.
Special precautions
The storage temperature of glass thermometers with galinstan should not be less than -15°C nor more than +42°C.
The product is a medical device belonging to class I with a measuring function according to Directive 93/42/EEC.
