Description
The essential oil of cinnamon contains a high quantity of eugenol (80-96%), cynnamic aldehyde, furfurol, fellandrene, pinene, cimolo and linalol. Thanks to these substances the oil performs a stimulating action on the body and mind and soothes motor disorders such as rheumatism or arthritis. Cinnamon favors normal digestion, regulates physiological intestinal transit and the elimination of gases, assists the metabolism of carbohydrates and protects cell constituents from oxidative damage.
It can be used as an antibacterial and disinfectant agent applied in hospital environment, being active against gram-positives and some gram-negatives, such as: Staphylococcus, Enterococcus, Enterobacter and Acinetobacter.
It has anti-aterosclerotic activity in atherosclerosis associated with insulin resistance and worsened atherosclerotic index (AI) associated with dyslipidemia.
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder associated with an increase in the risk of cardiovascular disease, retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, sexual dysfunction and periodontal disease. Improvements in glycemic control can help reduce the risk of these complications. Several studies show that cinnamon can be effective in improving glycemic control.
It is a powerful antioxidant; has antihypertensive effects and protective organs that can result from its ability to increase the production of endogenous NO and/or to regulate dyslipidemia.
As a carminative aids the elimination of intestinal gases in case of slow or poor digestion, and stimulates the intestinal and digestive function by reducing glucose in postprandial blood and gastric emptying rate (GER) without compromising satiety.

Ingredients
Pregelatinized corn starch 75%, soy lecithin 10%; antioxidants: ascorbic acid 6.8%, calcium carbonate 4%; antiagglomerants: levilite 2.4%, magnesium vegetable stearate 1.6%. Essential oil cinnamon bark 0.2%.
Gastro-resistant capsule: ipromellos (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), gel rubber, titanium oxide 1.92%.

Mode of use
It is recommended to take 2 capsules a day after the main meals.
