Description
Test designed to detect the antigens of the Lamblia Giardia in the feces.
Two antibodies in the kit bind specifically with several antigen epitopes. After being absorbed by the cellulose pad, the antigens of the Lamblia Giardia move and bind with the anti-Garden gold-collaidal complex on the buffer of the conjugate, forming an Ab-Ag complex. This complex, then, forms an Ab-Ag-Ab sandwich by binding directly with the antibody of another monoclonal anti-Garden in the nitrocellulose membrane.

Mode of use
Collect the feces with a tampon and put it in the extraction tube containing 1 ml extraction solution.
Do not use wet feces or agglomerates.
Mix the extraction solution and the buffer. Pour 4 drops of sample (100 mcL) into the sample well (S) on the test box.
Read the results after 5-10 minutes. The results read after 10 minutes, are to be considered null.

Interpretation of results
POSITIVE: both the control line (C) and the test line (T). The presence of antigens of Giardia determines the appearance of the test line.

NEGATIVE: Only the control line (C) appears while the test line (T) does not appear.

NOT VALIDO: the control line (C) does not appear. Insufficient sample or incorrect procedures may be due to the failure of the control line (C). It is recommended to test again.

Warnings
Only for in vitro diagnostic use.
Use within 10 minutes of opening the package because the test kit is very moisture-sensitive.
Pay attention not to touch the results window.
Each sample must be added with a different dropper.
Use the extraction solution in the test box.
Handle the sample carefully. It can be vehicle of unknown viruses or bacterial infections.
Wear disposable gloves to manipulate the sample. Always wash hands after sample manipulation.
Remove solid waste after sterilised at 121 °C for over 1 hour.
Do not use the kit when the packaging is damaged or if the expiration date has been exceeded.

Conservation
Store at 2-30 °C. Do not store in the refrigerator.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
