MAXAMAID XP 2

Food powder based on only essential and non-essential amino acids devoid of phenylalanine. Indicated as an amino acid supplement in the food management of phenylchetonuria in infants, children and adults.

Mode of use
The diet should be supplemented by natural proteins and other nutrients in the amounts prescribed by the doctor to achieve the required needs. Recommended dilution is 1 to 20 p/v (e.g. 5 g of XP2 Maxamaid in 100 ml of water). XP2 Maxamaid's homolocity at this dilution is 349 mosm/Kg. It can be taken as a drink or as a jelly; in this case you will have to consume simultaneously water or a diluted drink allowed. XP2 Maxamaid can be used as a food module to be added as amino acid supplement to PKU Anamix Infant during weaning. The aromatization is not recommended in infants before six months.
If you prepare in advance, quickly refrigerate from 2 to 4°C and consume within 24 hours. Shake well before use. Do not use the product spent 24 hours from the preparation. Throw away the reconstituted and unused product. Clean the teeth of the child after every stern and especially before the night rest.

Warnings
The powder formula is not sterile so it is recommended, where possible, to prepare it immediately before administration and to consume it within 1 hour. If you prepare in advance, quickly refrigerate from 2 to 4°C and consume within 24 hours. Shake well before use. Do not use the product spent 24 hours from the preparation. Throw away the reconstituted and unused product. Clean the teeth of the child after every stern and especially before the night rest. Not suitable as the only source of nutrition. Don't use parental. Recommended dilutions are purely indicative; quantities must always be established by the doctor. It requires an additional source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Conservation
Store in a dry place and away from heat sources. Close the package well after use. Once the package is opened, use the product within 1 month.
