Description
Low phenylalanine protein substitute based on glycomacropeptide (GMP) isolated from casein, integrated with a selected blend of essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, with eulcorant. Indicated for dietary management in the child over three years of life and in the adult with established hyperphenylalaninemia, including phenylchetonuria.
Nutritional characteristics
Mode of use
Dissolve a bag of Afenil GMP UP Shake in at least 80 ml of water or other allowed liquids. Mix well. The use of a shaker is recommended for optimal results. Once reconstituted, it is preferable to consume the product immediately. Where necessary, the reconstituted product can be stored 6 hours in the fridge and re-coated well before use.
Warnings
Afenil GMP UP Shake must be used under medical control by subjects with proven hyperphenylalaninemia including phenylchetonuria. Afenil GMP UP Shake cannot be used as the only power source. The product may involve health risks if consumed by individuals who do not present the specific disorder for which it is indicated. All Glicomacropeptide-based blends are a natural source of Fenilalanine. Use carefully in children from 3 to 6 years old. Keep away from the reach of children.
Conservation
Store the product in a cool and dry place, protected from light and direct sources of heat. The minimum term of preservation refers to the correctly stored product in an integral package.
