Description
Food in nutritionally complete powder, with high lipid content and reduced glucidic intake, containing a mixture of oils, milk protein (casein and seroprotein), with addition of amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and fibers. Contains long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPs), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (AA).
Indicated for the food regimen of epilepsy resistant drug and other pathologies where the use of chetogenic diet is indicated (for example, carbohydrate metabolism disorders, pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency, type 1) glucose transporter deficiency.
It can be used to administer the chetogenic diet with LCT.

Mode of use
The amount of formula and dilution should be determined by the doctor, and depend on the age, weight and clinical conditions of the patient.
The recommended dilution is 14.2% weight/volume. A higher dilution can be prescribed by the doctor according to individual needs.

To ensure that this high lipid content food is well tolerated, when the chetogenic diet begins, it is recommended to initially administer a reduced volume to the lowest concentration. Make sure a proper fluid intake is guaranteed.

Preparation and administration
For probe and oral use:
- measure the required amount of hot water in an airtight sealed container with a lid. The powder must be reconstituted in hot water (45-50°C) to facilitate its complete dissolution. Measure the temperature with a thermometer or mix boiling water and cold running water in ratio 1:1 to reach this temperature (do not use hot water directly from the tap);
- weigh the amount of powder prescribed;
- add the weighed powder to the water. Close the sterile container with the cap and stir energetically until complete dissolution of the powder;
- carefully remove the cover. Cool in the refrigerator if desired and use within 24 hours of preparation.
Shake or stir before use. Sedimentation is a normal event in this type of formula. If administerop for enteral probe, it is recommended to wash the probe with lukewarm water (approximately 37°C) between one administration and the other. If administered orally, serve fresh.

Warnings
Only for enteral use. Do not administer parentally.
Use only under medical control. To be used as the only source of nutrition in children aged 1 to 10 years. It can be used as a diet supplement for children over 10 years of age.
Monitor for hypoglycemia, kidney stones, hyperlipidemia and adequate growth.

Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place.
Close the jar after use.
Validity of packaging: 24 months.
