DUOCAL

Powder supplement consisting of a mixture of carbohydrates and fats with a high content of triglycerides at medium chain (MCT). Dietary food for special medical purposes.
It can be used as a supplement in the food management of diseases that require an additional energy supply from a combined source of carbohydrates and fats, where there is fat absorption or where the absorption of LCT is incomplete. Duocal can be used to increase the energy supply of a wide variety of beverages and foods, such as energy supplement in the supply for probe or os, or can be mixed with water to obtain a soapy liquid, high energy concentration and low electrolyte content.

Ingredients
Mix of carbohydrate and high-fat triglycerides at medium chain (MCT).

Mode of use
To obtain a solution of Duocal knead the powder with a small amount of water prescribed and then add the remaining water stirring energetically with a fork. The amount of Duocal must be determined exclusively by the doctor or dietetician and depends on the age, body weight and clinical conditions of the patient. Duocal will be introduced gradually during a period of days in relation to patient tolerance.

Warnings
To use only under medical control. Do not use as the only source of nutrition. Do not use it by parental means. Richiuder well the jar after use.

Conservation
Store in a dry place and away from heat sources. Once opened consume within 1 month.
