Description
Dietary food intended for special medical purposes, for the dietary treatment of phenylchetonuria in the child from the 6th month of life onwards, in the adult with established phenylchetonuria and/or hyperphenylalaninemia and in maternal phenylchetonuria.
Mix of amino acids without phenylalanine integrated with vitamins, minerals, selenium, taurine and carnitine.

Mode of use
Dosage: second prescription, taking into account the age of the patient, body weight, phenylalaninemia and the clinical conditions of the patient.
To get a gel
1) Pour the contents of a bag into a glass. If desired, flavor to taste.
2) Add about 30 ml of cold water. Mix well for about 10 seconds.
3) To get a creamy gel, let it rest for about 2 minutes. Reconstituted gel can be taken as well as such with a teaspoon or mixed with other permitted foods. For a better result, when possible, should be prepared and consumed immediately. Where necessary, the reconstituted product can be stored 24 hours in the fridge and re-coated well before use.
To get a drink.
1) Pour the contents of a bag into a glass. If desired, flavor to taste.
2) Add about 80 ml of cold water. Mix well for about 10 seconds.
3) Drink immediately.
The powder contained in an envelope, once opened, should be entirely consumed. Excess should be kept in the fridge and used within 24 hours.

Warnings
It must be used under strict medical control by people with established phenylketonuria.
The product cannot be the only source of power. The diet must be integrated with natural proteins, water and other nutrients in the prescribed quantities, to provide phenylalanin, liquids and other necessary nutrients.
Not to use intravenously.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.

Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, sheltered from light and direct sources of heat.
Validity of packaging: 24 months.
