Protonic S is a food intended for special medical purposes with high protein content with vitamins and minerals, indicated for the dietary management of patients with an increased protein requirement, in particular in cases of protein malnutrition, inappetence of various nature and to counter the loss of muscle mass and osteo-muscular fragility due to the advance of age.
Protonic S contains:
-Proteins of high biological value of which:
- 99% seroprotein isolated for rapid absorption microfiltration effective for recovery and maintenance of muscle mass. Seroproteins, compared to other protein sources, are rich in leucine, an amino acid considered a powerful responsible for the signal stimulation of muscle protein synthesis;
- 1% ovoalbumin to increase in qualitative and quantitative terms the amino acid profile without providing added fat;
- Vitamin C, B2 and E, selenium and zinc that contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress;
- Vitamins A, B6, B9, B12, and iron that contribute to the normal function of the immune system;
- High doses of vitamin D and calcium contribute to the maintenance of normal muscle and bone function.
PROTONIC S does not contain caseins (allergic and undigestible) or fats.

Warnings
30 g of powder (about 3 scoops) must be reconstituted in at least 150 ml of liquid (water, milk or other drink). The neutral taste of the powder also allows the addition to broths and soups.
