Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietetic management of subjects that need to repair damaged tissues (e.g. pressure injuries, burns diabetic foot ulcers, mucosites, radiodermitis etc.), for the dietary management of cancer subjects and more generally of subjects with severe immune deficiency.
The nutritional approach with Glutred is based on the synergistic action of its components: HMB contrasts the loss of plasma and muscle proteins; glutamine and arginine promote protein synthesis, reparation of injuries and normal functioning of the immune system; whey proteins contain a high concentration of branched amino acids, in particular the essential leucine for the activation of protein synthesis; vitamin D has recognized positive effects on immunomodulation and muscle function.

Ingredients
L-glutamine, L-arginine, maltodextrin; acidifier: citric acid; calcium hydroxytilbutirrate, aromas, whey protein milk concentrated; anti-agglomerating agent: silicon dioxide; sweeteners: acesulphame K, sucralose; dye: beta-carotene; vitamin D3 (calciferol), vitamin B1 (thiamin hydrochloride), vitamin B6 (pyridossine hydrochloride).

Mode of use
1 or 2 envelopes per day according to the doctor's opinion.
The product can be used by mouth or enteral.
Oral administration: dissolve the contents of a bag in 250 ml of water.
Administration by enterale: do not join Glutred to other formulas for enteral nutrition in the same bag. Wash the probe with 30 ml of water before and after administration of the product. Make sure you have the correct positioning of the nap before use.
Pour the contents of a Glutred envelope in a container suitable to disperse 250 ml of water at room temperature or slightly warm. Mix until the complete dispersion of the product. Administer the solution using a syringe of at least 60 ml.
Use preferably immediately after preparation, within 4 hours if it is stored in the refrigerator.

Warnings
Not for parental use. Not indicated as the only source of nutrition. The product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age. Use only under the control of your doctor.

Conservation
Store the product in a cool, dry place and protected from light.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
