Cream with soothing action and restructuring the epidermal lipid barrier. The cream has a pH between 6.0 and 6.5, so as not to alter the natural ability to defend the epidermal lipid barrier, and is maintained constant through a buffer system. Indicated as a dermo-cosmetic complement, to restore skin hydration under skin dryness conditions, giving back elasticity and smoothness. The special composition of the preparation makes it capable of explicating its activity even in the presence of dryness of a particularly high degree and on skins with reduced tolerance to the common cosmetic treatments.
   Ceramidi
They are a family of lipid molecules and represent about 50% by weight of the lipids of the corneo layer; they increase the swelling and emollience of the skin “recompacting it”. It is a structural improvement that a moisturizing effect and regularization of the whole process of skin renewal with benefi ci on the construction work, directly in the dermis, of the environment in which the cells of the whole skin are born and live. Some skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and stroke are characterized by a deficiency of some ceramides or reduction of the levels of these lipids. Such alterations are responsible for the compromised functionality of the skin barrier.
   Alkaline
Promotes rapid cell proliferation, increases the healing speed of wounds, inflammations, burns, ulcers. It is moisturizing and promotes the absorption of active ingredients in solution (softens the corneo layer by facilitating absorption). It is antioxidant and also shows anti-inflammatory and moisturizing effects.
   Cappero extract (Capparis spinosa)
The dried extracts from Capparis fruit have a skin antioxidant, antiflogistic and antistaminosimile activity, valid in dermatopathies. These activities are partly due to two important avonoids: quercetin and chemferol, contained at high concentrations in cappero extract.
   India fig extract (Opuntia fi cus-indica)
The active substances consist of a mixture of polysaccharide complexes that improve the skin's barrier capabilities, accelerate the healing processes of the skin and have a strong moisturizing power.
   Unsaponifi cabile di olivo
Fraction of olive oil with softening and protective properties.
   Stearil glicirretinate
Stearic derivative of glycyrretic acid, possesses desteering and soothing properties on the skin.
   Shea butter
It nourishes and soothes the skin gently.

Mode of use
Apply an adequate quantity at the level of the affected area. The recommended application is twice a day and must be protracted at least until physiological conditions are restored. The application must be followed by a light massage to promote its absorption.
