NOVA T 380 INTRAUTERNAL DISP

Intrauterine device in the form of “T” which is inserted in the uterus to prevent pregnancy. The vertical arm of the T is wrapped in a spiral of pure copper, with a copper surface of about 380 mm2. The spiral contains a silver soul that, as has been shown, prevents its break. Two wires used for removing the device are attached to the eyelet located at the lower end of the vertical arm.
Before insertion, examinations such as Pap tests and other tests should be submitted, p.e. for infections such as sexually transmitted diseases, as needed. It is also necessary to undergo gynecological examination to determine the position and size of the uterus.
The device can be easily removed from your doctor at any time, after that pregnancy is possible. Removal is usually a painless procedure. Fertility returns normal after removal of NOVA T 380. If you do not want a pregnancy, removal should not be performed after the seventh day of the menstrual flow (on a monthly basis) unless contraception is guaranteed by other methods (e.g. profiling) for at least seven days before removal.
