Description
This device has been developed to not invasively measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and heart rate in adults. Designed to be used in a simple and convenient way at home. The device is not suitable for use on infants. Before using the device to measure pressure on a child, on a pregnant woman or pre-eclampsia, it is recommended to always consult with your doctor. The device is not intended for use during transport of the patient outside a health facility.
TECHNOLOGY
This device measures blood pressure and heart rate using the oscillometric method. The bracelet is connected to the main unit and is wrapped around the arm. The sensors inside the bracelet detect the small oscillations of the pressure exerted against the same during the expansion and contraction of the arm arteries as a result of each single heart beat. The electronic system then measures the width of each pressure wave, converts it into mercury millimeters and digitally displays the value on the large LCD display.
DURANT MISURATION (INFLATING Technology).
INFLATING is the recent technology that guarantees direct measurement of the values of the die only during the inflating of the bracelet, thus ensuring greater comfort thanks to the lower force of constriction applied to the arm and its lesser application time. With this technology, the measuring procedure consists of three separate phases. In the first phase, the device quickly inflates the bracelet to a preset value ideal to ensure the bracelet to the limb and start the second phase. The second phase begins when the device reduces the inflating speed of the bracelet so as to allow the accurate detection of the heartbeat. The third and final phase is the actual measurement of the values and begins when on the screen the symbol of the heart begins to flash and ends when the device automatically deflates the bracelet and displays the result of the measurement on the screen.
CLASSIFICATION WHO OF SANGUIGNA PRESSION VALUES
The measured blood pressure values are classified as shown in the table shown on the instruction manual (WHO guidelines). When systolic and diastolic pressures fall into different categories, the highest class applies. For specific information about your blood pressure, please contact your doctor. It is not necessary to reach personal conclusions based only on the indications given by this device.
COURT MOVING SIMBLE
The blood pressure value measured while the body moves or speaks, is not correct, since potentially influenced by these conditions. When the device detects a body movement, it analyzes the pulse wave and shows the corresponding symbol indicating the possibility that the measurement result is incorrect (the symbol appears on screen at the end of the measurement together with the values found). In this case it is recommended not to consider valid the data displayed and repeat the measure after about 10 minutes.
ARITMIA SIMBLE
The pulse rate may vary when speaking or moving, or in case of cardiac arrhythmia. When the difference between the shorter and longer interval between pulse waves exceeds 25%, the device displays the corresponding symbol indicating arithmia condition.
MEMORIA FUNCTION
Measured values are automatically saved in the memory channel, so that they can be relived in a second time. The memory of the device can store up to 60 readings. Adding the maximum memory capacity, the device automatically deletes the oldest reading in favor of recording the new one just performed. When the clock is in operation the saved readings can be recalled together with the date and time of measurement. *To save date and time you need to activate the clock before even starting the measurement. The device does not save the results that have given rise to error ([Err]).
CURA AND MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to keep the appliance clean and check the cleaning after each use. Make sure the monitor is not dirty before use. To clean the main unit, simply rub it with a soft and dry cloth. For cleaning do not use gasoline, diluents or other types of energetic solvent. The bracelet can be cleaned by gently rubbing the surface with a cleaning cloth suitable for synthetic fabrics and should then be dried completely in the air. Always avoid fluids of any nature to enter the air connector of the bracelet and then into its tube. If this happens, remove the pipe and connector parts and dry them completely in the air. The bracelet should not be energetically rubbed into the washing machine. During storage do not store on the appliance and its accessories heavy, hot or sharp objects. Never fold with excessive force the bracelet envelops the bracelet tube until you fold it at corner. To detach the bracelet from the main unit do not pull the bracelet or tube but take it on the air connector and extract it gently. Do not try to stretch or twist the bracelet, and do not contact it with sharp objects. Do not replace parts, disassemble or change the device to avoid malfunctions or danger to users. Immediately interrupt your use and contact your dealer or manufacturer if you experience visible damage on your device. If the appliance has been stored at a temperature below the freezing point, hold it for at least 1 hour in a warm place before using it. If you want to keep the appliance for a long time, remove the batteries. Keep batteries away from the reach of children. As a precaution to potential problems from poor maintenance, bumps, misuse, control of the skewer is recommended every 2 years. This operation can only be performed by the manufacturer or by companies authorized by the manufacturer.
