100 g cream contain: Active ingredient: hydrocortisone 0.5 g Excipients with known effects: cetilic alcohol, stearilic alcohol, lanolin. For the full list of excipients, see paragraph 6.1.

Excellent

Hisopropyl alcohol, cetilic alcohol, stearilic alcohol, lanolin, 1000 stearate macrogol, 4000 stearate macrogol, 6000 stearate macrogol, bitter almond aroma and purified water.

Therapeutic indications

Punches of insects, itchings, erythema and eczema.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients listed in paragraph 6.1. The use of hydrocortisone is contraindicated in the case of viral, bacterial and fungal diseases.

Population

Frying slightly, spread the cream on the affected part in thin layer, twice a day. Do not exceed the recommended doses.

Conservation

Store at a temperature below 25°C.

Warnings

FOILLE INSETTI must be used only for external use. Do not apply on mucosa. Avoid contact with eyes. In children under 2 years FOILLE INSETTI must be used only after consulting the doctor and having evaluated with him the risk/benefit ratio in his case. It is good to avoid prolonged use of FOILLE INSETTI, in particular on large surfaces. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to phenomena of irritation or awareness. In this case, it is necessary to stop the treatment and consult the doctor in order to establish an appropriate therapy. If skin irritation appears, the treatment must be stopped. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results consult your doctor. There have been cases of feocromocytoma crisis, which can be fatal, after administration of corticosteroids. Corticosteroids should be administered to patients with suspected or proven feocromocytoma, only after an adequate risk/benefit assessment. Visual disturbances With the use of systemic and topical corticosteroids, visual disturbances can be reported. If a patient occurs with symptoms such as blurred vision or other visual disorders, it is necessary to consider referral to an ophthalmologist for the evaluation of possible causes that may include cataracts, glaucoma or rare diseases such as central serum corioretinopathy (CSCR), which were reported after the use of systemic and topic corticosteroids. Foille Insetti contains cetilic alcohol, stearilic alcohol and lanolin that can cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).

Effects

As with all preparations for topical use, local awareness reactions can occur. Generally speaking, the topical application of corticosteroids does not determine clinical evidence of systemic absorption. When applied on extended surfaces, or for prolonged periods of time, or on skin does not integrate, or in case of occlusive bandage, hydrocortisone can be absorbed in sufficient quantities to determine systemic effects. Undesirable effects due to corticosteroids The frequency of unwanted effects is classified as follows: very common (≥1/10); common (≥1/100, endocrine pathologies Note: Feocromocytoma crisis (see paragraph 4.4). Pathologies of skin and subcutaneous tissue Notable: hives. Pathologies of the eye Notable: blurred vision, central serum corioretinopathy (CSCR), (see paragraph 4.4). Reporting of suspicious adverse reactions The reporting of suspicious adverse reactions that occur after the authorization of the medicinal product is important, as it allows continuous monitoring of the benefit/risk ratio of the medicinal product.
