ICTAMMY NOVA ARGENTIA 10% UNGUENT

active ingredients

100 g ointment contain: Active ingredient: sulphonate ammonium 1O g. For the full list of excipients, see paragraph 6.1.

Excipient: white vaseline.

Therapeutic indications

Inflammations and small skin infections. Forunculosis (brufoli), abscess, and superficial ulcerations of the skin. Inflammation of the sweat glands (hydrrosadenitis).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients.

Population

Apply the ointment, in the amount necessary in relation to the part to be treated, 2-3 times a day, covering with a gauze.

Conservation

Store the container well closed in the original packaging.

Warnings

Do not apply near the eyes and mucosa. Avoid sun exposure and UVA rays after application. The use, especially if prolonged, of medicinal products for local use can give rise to phenols of irritation or sensitization. If this happens, stop the treatment. Important information about some excipients: not known.

Effects

Pathologies of skin and subcutaneous tissue: Dermatitis, Bruciori, Irritation of the skin, Reactions of hypersensitivity. Reporting of suspicious adverse reactions. The reporting of suspicious adverse reactions that occur after the authorization of the medicinal product is important, as it allows continuous monitoring of the benefit/risk ratio of the medicinal product. Healthcare workers are required to report any suspected adverse reaction via the national reporting system at: www.aifa.gov.it/content/segnalazioni-reazioni-avverse.

Overdosing

If used in excessive quantities it can be irritating to the skin and mucosa.

In the absence of specific studies, the medicinal product must be used during pregnancy and nursing only in case of need and under direct medical control.
