Description
Medical device Class I sterile.
Urinary catheter, hydrophilic, disposable, self-lubricating with sterile saline solution and collection bag integrated into the package. The hydration of the catheter is instantaneous and occurs in a sterile environment.
The surface of the catheter is made with Urotonic Surface Technology: the combination of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), and the saline solution present in the sachet, makes the coating of the LoFric Hydro-Kit isotonic catheter with urine, after activation.
The packaging of each product allows a safe catheterism in every situation: bag with sterile water integrated into the package; 1000 ml graduated urine collection bag; asola to hang the kit or facilitate the support of the bag.
Sterilized by irradiation.

Polyolefin elastomer (POBE); coating material: polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP); sachet containing saline solution: aluminium sheet; collection bag: polyethylene butylacrylate (EBA).
All materials used are non-toxic, medical and biocompatible materials.

Warnings
The LoFric Hydrokit catheter is disposable. Once used the exclusive surface coating deteriorates and the catheter is no longer sterile. The risks associated with reuse may be: increased adherence, pain, bleeding, urinary tract infections and long-term stenosis and epididymites.

Conservation
Store at room temperature, in a cool and dry place, protected from moisture.
Validity of packaging: 42 months.
