The flat plate with Technology Modellabile Esteem synergy consists of a central trilaminal adhesive disc composed of:
- a top layer in Durahesive Technology
- an intermediate layer in Polyethylene Film
- a layer in contact with the skin in Stomahesive Technology.
The support ring is surrounded by a flexible microporous adhesive plaster entirely covered by a thin layer of hydrocolloid in contact with the skin. Thanks to the exclusive Modeller Technology, the skin barrier adhesive adapts to the shape and measurement of the stomy by simply shaping the adhesive with the fingers, without requiring the use of scissors. Moreover, thanks to the exclusive ACT adhesive fastening technology (Adhesive Coupling Technology), plaque and collection bag are hooked through an adhesive mechanism. This system guarantees at the same time: sealing safety; skin protection; ease of use; atraumaticity to application and removal; airtight closure against liquid and odor leaks and finally flexibility and discretion.

Technical characteristics
- The mouldable adhesive, thanks to Elastic Memory Technology (Rebounding Moldable Technology), gently embraces the edge of the stoma by adapting to it safely and personalizedly and minimizing the risk of infiltration.
- The upper layer in Durahesive Technology; when it comes into contact with the effluents it inflates, absorbing the moisture and forms a characteristic collar (“taruga neck effect”) around the stoma, protecting it from contact with the effluents and prolonging the time of stay in situ of the device.
- The layer in contact with the skin in Stomahesive Technology; ensures high skin protection.
- The very thin profile of the hydrocolloidal plaster makes this device particularly suitable for patients with irregular abdominal profile or globular abdomen ensuring maximum comfort and freedom of movement.
The preparation of the skin barrier is easy and fast, especially for patients with irregular stocks and poor dexterity, and it does not require the use of meters or scissors. The skin barrier is waterproof and can also be worn during the bath or shower. In addition, ACT adhesive fastening technology, eliminating the need for a rigid plastic flange, offers the patient the best combination of the advantages of traditional one-piece systems and two-pieces: maximum protection of the skin in the peristomal area, maximum sealing safety against infiltrations, maximum comfort, flexibility and discretion.
Skin barrier with Modeller Technology, with central trilaminal disc (superior in Durahesive Technology, intermediate in polyethylene films, lower in Stomahesive Technology) and flexible hydrocolloidal patch composed of breathable polyester (microporous) on which there is a hydrocolloidal adhesive.
On the outer side of the plaques, a transparent plastic film is soldered, which is the base for the collection bag. This film is floating compared to the rest of the plate, to ensure a smooth adhesion surface even in the presence of irregular abs.
Each plate is individually packaged in shaped blisters.
