To be administered by inhalation in the form of suffumiges. Its action is useful to release the respiratory tract under conditions such as irritated throat, cooling, acute or chronic irritations, in the presence of mucosa hypersecretion. The product is therefore to be used as an adjuvant to all treatments aimed at restoring the functioning of the respiratory tract.
Fomentil helps to free the respiratory tract, promotes the protection of nasal and gold-pharyngeal mucosa and the fluidification and removal of catarral secretions subsequently expelled through the physiological cough mechanism. The water vapor generated by suffumigio, in the presence of menthol and eucalyptus, contributes to decongestion of the respiratory tract by giving relief under conditions such as colds, coughs, sinusitis, bronchitis and inflammations of the respiratory system.

Mode of use
Dissolve 1-2 tablets in half liter about boiling water and breathe for 3-4 minutes the vapors by collecting them by means of special vapo-inhaler or with the hands. Repeat this operation 3-4 times a day.
Water needs to be boiling because the tablet completely dissolves. Break the tablets to facilitate their dissolution.
Do not cover the head with a cloth during the inhalation and have the warning to keep the face at a distance of about 40 cm to prevent the hot water vapour from irriting the skin.
For children over 30 months: put next to the bed of the child a trash with boiling water and melt 3-4 tablets, one at a time. The duration of treatment of smoking should not exceed 3 days.

Components
Sodium bicarbonate, tartaric acid, microcrystalline cellulose, bentonite, glyceryl distearate, silica colloidal hydrated, polyvinilpyrrolidone, talc, magnesium stearate, flavour (eucaliptus globulus leaf oil, lavandula angustifolia oil, thymus vulgaris flower/leaf oil, menthol).

Warnings
Carefully read the leaflet. Do not use if the packaging is open or damaged. The product should not be used for children under 30 months of age. Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity already known to the components. For external use, do not ingest the tablets or drink the solution. Use only for suffumiges and inhalations. Avoid contact with eyes. There are no known interactions with other products and/or medicines, however in case of concomitant therapy in the respiratory tract, wait at least 30 minutes between the use of Fomentil and the other treatment. Fomentil is not recommended during pregnancy and in pregnant women who do not use contraceptive measures. Fomentil should not be used during feeding. It is important to report to the doctor or pharmacist the appearance of unwanted effects. Keep out of sight and reach of children and from those who may accidentally ingest the tablet or solution. A dose higher than the recommended dose should not be used. Consult your doctor if you suffer from chronic respiratory disorders.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Do not disperse in the environment after use.

Conservation
Store shelter from direct light and heat at room temperature.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
Valid after the first opening: 18 months.
