Liberino

Sterile physiological solution, ready for use, indicated for removal of mucus or secretions and restoration of the physiological state of the nose of newborns, children, adults and aerosoltherapy.
Liberino frees the nose of the newborns of the mucus that often obstructs it and therefore facilitates the wedge and sleep of the infants. It is indicated for removal of mucus or secretions and restoration of the physiological state of the nose of children not able to clean it properly.
It promotes the elimination of excessive nasal secretions and, with the concomitant humidifying action, remedys the dryness of the respiratory tract both children and adults.
Liberino can also be used for external hygiene of the eyes. In this case we use a wet cotton ball with the content of a vial, to gently cleanse the outside of the eye, keeping the eyelids lowered.

Components
Sodium chloride E.Ph. 45.0 mg, Water 5.0 ml.

Mode of use
Newborns: instill some drops in the nostrils before the aft.
Children: instill some drops in the nostrils from 1-3 times a day.
Adults: 1-3 vials per day, distributing the content between the two nostrils.
For babies, open the bottle by turning the top. Keeping the head of the baby reclined to the right, gently introduce the spout of the bottle just inside the left nostril. Press the bottle on the sides and bring out the amount of necessary liquid. Recline the head of the baby to the left and repeat the operation for the other nostril. Raise the head of the baby and dry the liquid coming out of the nostrils.
For children and adults, before blowing the nose, wait a few seconds to allow action.
Close the bottle by pressing the top on the spout.
For aerosoltherapy:
- as a fluidifier of the secretions: adhere to the indications of the manufacturer of the aerosol device;
- to dilute drugs: follow the indications on the package of the drug to be diluted.

Warnings
The vial, once opened and closed, after the partial withdrawal of the content, must be put back in the case and stored in a fresh environment, used within 48 hours. If you use it with a drug stick to what is reported in the illustrative sheet of the drug.
For use in aerosoltherapy do not use in patients suffering from severe respiratory or cardiovascular diseases.
It does not contain preservatives and therefore can also be used for long periods.

Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place.
Validity of packaging: 36 months.
Valid after the first opening: 48 hours.
Do not disperse the container in the environment after use.
