Description
LONTAX PLUS can be used as a support for prophylaxis and treatment of parafluid syndromes caused by viruses. LONTAX PLUS can also be used for preventive purposes to hydrate long nasal mucosa. Can be used in adults and children from 1 year of age. LONTAX PLUS does not contain preservatives. A sterile filter guarantees the sterility of the solution even after repeated use. LONTAX PLUS has no decongestant effect. LONTAX PLUS is a clear, colourless and odorless viscose solution.
Low humidity and air pollution can dry the nasal mucosa. The nose, however, is able to perform its filter function only if the mucosa is sufficiently hydrated. LONTAX PLUS forms a moisturizing protective film on the nasal mucosa. This liquid film is a physical barrier against external agents. Prolonged hydration can protect against cold and parafluid syndromes caused by cold viruses. The nose is the most frequent infection route for cold and parafluid syndrome viruses. Parafluid syndromes are caused by viruses, including rhinovirus and coronavirus. When viruses penetrate the nose, they can colonize the mucosa and infect the cells, multiplying and spreading. This causes the typical symptoms of cold, such as closed nose or nose cola, sore throat and/or headache, cough, etc. In the early stages of the disease, often, it is not possible to distinguish with certainty cold from influence. Influence is a potentially serious disease, for whose definitive diagnosis a doctor needs surgery. LONTAX PLUS contains Carragelose, a substance of marine origin, obtained from red algae. Carragelose has a double positive effect.
-LONTAX PLUS forms a protective barrier against cold viruses. Cold and parafluid syndromes are caused by a remarkable variety of viruses, including rhinovirus and coronavirus. Carragelose binds cold viruses in a specific way and prevents them from joining the mucosa, thereby reducing the multiplication and spread of viruses that infect the respiratory tract.
-LONTAX PLUS forms a moisturizing protective film. Thanks to the action of Carragelose, the film remains longer on the nasal mucosa and works as a physical barrier against external agents. The film, ensuring physiological hydration of mucous membranes, helps the body's natural defenses reject cold viruses.
LONTAX PLUS is able to reduce the duration of parafluid syndromes and mitigate the severity of cold symptoms. LONTAX PLUS is able to reduce the onset of new infections and the reacuttions of the symptoms of viral cold. LONTAX PLUS is indicated for prophylaxis and treatment of support for viral respiratory infections. LONTAX PLUS can also be used for preventive purposes to long hydrate nasal mucosa and, therefore, as prophylaxis and support treatment for all disorders resulting from a dry and irritated nasal mucosa.

Components
1 ml of solution contains 1.2 mg of iota-carragenin (Carragelose), 0.4 mg of kappa-carragenin, sodium chloride and purified water.

Without lactose and gluten.

Mode of use
To the first symptoms of flu-like infection (e.g. sore throat, itching nose or cola, etc.) spray at least 3 times a day for each nostril. Start the treatment as soon as possible after the emergence of the first symil-fluous symptoms and continue until the symptoms have ceased. If you develop fever or there are no improvements after 1 week of treatment, consult a doctor.
To moisturize the dry nasal mucosa, apply the spray in the nose several times a day according to individual needs.
-Remove the protective cap and, if necessary, operate the pump sometimes until obtaining a uniform nebulization. Now LONTAX PLUS is ready for use.
-To avoid injury, to introduce the dispenser with caution in each nostril. Keep the bottle vertically during the application.
-After use, apply the protective cap again to the dispenser.

Warnings
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity known to one of the components. To date no side effects are known, except rare cases of hypersensitivity. There are no known interactions. No interaction studies have been conducted with other products. Any serious incident, which occurs after the use of LONTAX PLUS must be communicated to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of his country.
LONTAX PLUS acts locally. Carragelose is not absorbed by the cells of the nasal mucosa. LONTAX PLUS can be used during pregnancy and nursing. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor. For hygienic reasons and to avoid the transmission of pathogenic agents, each bottle must be used always and only by the same person. Keep out of sight and reach of children. LONTAX PLUS can be used for a prolonged period of time. There is no risk of addiction or overdose. LONTAX PLUS contains the natural substance Carragelose. LONTAX PLUS is a clinically tested medical device. LONTAX PLUS does not contain painkillers, preservatives, animal or greenhouse gas components. LONTAX PLUS is lactose-free and gluten-free and can be used by diabetics.

Conservation
Store between 5 °C and 30 °C. Protect from light. Thanks to the special filtering system, the solution remains sterile even after repeated use. LONTAX PLUS can be used until the date indicated on the package.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
