Nasal wash
Isotonic solution

Medical device CE 0476 of nasal irrigation, indicated for daily hygiene through the shower of nasal mucosa, in order to prevent obstructions due to stagnation of catarror secretions or for those suffering from respiratory difficulties due to diseases such as: colds, coughs, sinusitis, post-operative decorations, otititis, asthma, bronchitis, nasal polyposi, allergens or caused by environmental contaminations such as powders, smoke or exhalations. Helpful in the therapy of night nasal obstruction.

Destination
The device allows the sterile and apirogenous solution (isotonic) contained in 250 or 500 ml bags to flow by gravity or manual pressure, inside the nasal cavities (higher aerial routes). This device has at one end an irrigator nozzle that directs the jet of physiological solution to the meats of the nasal cavities by exercising a powerful cleansing action in the cavities themselves and in the rhinopharynx, favoring the removal outside of all secretions, powders, allergens and chemicals possibly present.

Population
For adults and children (over 3 years) it is recommended from 1 to 2 irrigations per day or according to different medical specifications.

Operating instructions
• Carefully remove the first sack protection envelope.
• Intiepidire the bag with the solution at about 30-35°C, immersing it in hot water. Then remove, unscrewing, the protective cap.
• Fix the suction cup on a smooth surface above the sink.
• Open the package containing the device.
• Lower the roller wheel to completely obstruct the pipe.
• Remove the cap and screw the male connection of the device. Keeping between your fingers the connection, with the other hand break the fracture cone (arrow point part) to activate the sack-device connection.
• Hang the bag to the suction cup by fitting it properly.
• Tilt the head forward on the sink in lower position than the shoulders.
• Bring the spray nozzle to the nose and press gently on the nostril. Breathe through the mouth throughout the treatment.
• Raise about half the roller wheel then adjust it so that the solution gently drains without going to the throat.
• Approximately half-treatment, possibly, change nostrils.

Materials
This device, supplied in sterile single blister, consists of:
- n° 1 Luer lock male connection in ABS; for connection to the bags (Luer lock female fittings);
- n° 1 soft PVC tube NO-DOP (without Ftalati), diameter 3,5 x 5,5 x 500 mm;
- n° 1 roller (body + roll) in PP; for adjustment of the tube / flow;
- No. 1 dispenser / ABS nozzle.
