Description
Ensure Plus Advance is a hypercaloric oral nutritional supplement (1.5 kcal/ml) with an exclusive combination of HMB*, protein and vitamin D to effectively prevent muscle loss.
It prevents loss of muscle tone in patients and subjects forced to immobility and promotes recovery of muscle mass during convalescence.
*HMB (beta-hydroxy-beta-methyl-butyric acid) is a metabolite of leucine essential amino acid, which specifically supports protein synthesis and helps prevent endogenic protein degradation.
It is particularly suitable:
- in case of malnutrition;
- in case of high protein requirements;
- to counter muscle loss due to age;
- for recovery after a hospitalization and/or a disease;
- in case of fragility.
Vanilla flavor, available in the practical bottle.
