Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the product and to other substances closely related to the chemical; in case of drilling of the timpane, refrain from use. The product, in contact with the structure of the middle ear, can determine unwanted effects at that level.

Population

Instill in the external ear canal 2-4 times a day: adults: 5-8 drops every time children: 4-5 drops each time It is recommended to intiepidire the bottle before use.

Conservation

No special precaution for conservation.

Warnings

As a precautionary measure, before administering the product, ensure the integrity of the timpane membrane. The products for topical application can give rise to phenomena of sensitization or irritation: in this case interrupt the treatment and consult the doctor in order to establish suitable therapy. Do not use for protracted treatments, in any case, after a short period of treatment (1-2 days) without appreciable results, consult your doctor.

Effects

In case of drilling of the timpane, the product, in contact with the structure of the middle ear, can determine undesirable effects at that level. The use of phenazone, whether by systemic means, has been associated with a high risk of agranulocytosis; this drug, as well as procaine, can give allergic reactions in sensitive subjects and, following systemic absorption, also anaphylactic manifestations. Reporting of suspicious adverse reactions The reporting of suspicious adverse reactions that occur after the authorization of the medicinal product is important, as it allows continuous monitoring of the benefit/risk ratio of the medicinal product. Overdosing

There were no reported cases of accidental or intentional overdose in humans, with the appearance of toxic symptoms.

During pregnancy, during breastfeeding and early childhood, the drug must be used only in case of actual need and not for prolonged periods.
