Interactions

It is necessary to observe caution in the association of corticosteroids with amfotericin B because they can sum up their hypokalemic actions. Corticosteroids antagonize the effects of anticoagulants, therefore we do not recommend the contemporary use with the same especially if cumarinic derivatives. The barbiturates accelerate the metabolism of corticosteroids for enzymatic induction and reduce their effect, so we do not recommend their association.
