Description
Idrogel, sterile, isotonic, constituted by an association to 1.2% of hyaluronic acid with high molecular weight long chain and cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Contains cyclodextrin and povidone ioduro (PVP-I).
Thanks to the high concentration in hyaluronic acid in general and the presence of cross-linked is able to increase the adhesion time to the cornea thus favoring and accelerating the natural process of scarring.
Modulates the process of reparation and maintains at the same time hygienized the eye surface for the presence in the formulation of a low but effective concentration of PVP-I.
Indicated in the repair of the oclar surface and in the reepitalization of the corneal lesions caused by traumas, foreign bodies, rubbings, inflammations, infections and even more generally in the alterations of the lacrimal film.
It can be used in all cases of very deep ulcers and also in idiopathic chronic surface ulcers.
Mode of use
Wash your hands thoroughly.
Extract the bottle from the cardboard case and eliminate the plastic seal placed on the bottle neck.
Unscrew the cap.
With the non-dominant hand hold firm and support the head of the animal by tilting it slightly back. With the other hand hold the bottle vertically above the eye with the tip facing down.
Instill 1 or 2 drops of hydrogel in the eye to be treated, slightly crushing the plastic bottle and taking care not to touch the eye with the tip of the bottle.
The suggested posology is 1 or 2 drops in the eye to be treated, 3 times a day or according to the opinion of the veterinarian in relation to the severity of the corneal trauma.
Warnings
Do not use the product if the packaging results, at the time of the first damaged or not perfectly closed opening.
Do not use the product in case of specific hypersensitivity to one of the components.
Do not ingest the product.
Keep away from the reach of children.
Conservation
Keep the product safe from light and heat sources at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Do not use after the period of calidity reported on the case.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
Post-opening validation: 28 days.
