Description
Moisturizing ophthalmic solution, epithelium-protective, soothing and lunrifying.
Sterile aqueous hydrogel containing: polyvinyl alcohol, lubricating, moisturizing, viscoelastic, mucoadsive, protective; dexpantenol, omologist of pantothenic acid, belonging to the class of vitamins of group B, vitamin tissue nutrient, epithelium-protective; disetionate examination, polyesanide hydrochloride and disodium edetate to protective action.
Thanks to the properties of its components, the product is indicated as a coadjuvant in the process of corneal reepitelization, in particular due to stress or physical insults.
The presence of antiseptics in the formulation guarantees the sterility of the ophthalmic solution after the first opening of the bottle, favoring the protection of the eye tissues from irritations. In the product the concentration of polyvinyl alcohol (1,25%) has been specially studied in order to ensure the hydrogel obtained rheological characteristics similar to those of the tear fluid and an effective adhesive properties on the eye mucosa with lubricating, moisturizing, protective effect without causing visual blur. This hydrogel also ensures a prolonged permanence of the components on the eye mucous membranes, favouring the nourishing-vitamin action, assisting for the reepitelization.
Methylsulphonylmethane present among the excipients of the formulation, substance containing biologically available sulphur, facilitates the surface absorption of dexpantenol, thanks to an activation of cellular permeability. It is a watery colloidal liquid characterized by the following chemical-physical characteristics: it is perfectly transparent and colourless; is miscible with tear fluid in all proportions; has pH values, viscosity and osmolarity perfectly compatible with eye tissues and lacrimal liquid and therefore has a high degree of tolerance.

Mode of use
Instill 1-2 drops of the solution in the eye, exerting a slight pressure on the body of the bottle. It is advisable to repeat the operation 2-3 or more times a day. If used in association with other collieries it is advisable to use in different times for any reciprocal dilutions.

Components
Polyvinyl alcohol 1,25%, dexpantenol, disetionate examination 0.050%, polyesanide hydrochloride 0,0001%, methylsulfonilmetanodidine edetato, sodium phosphate bibasic, potassium phosphate monobasic, purified water.

Warnings
External use. Just for veterinary use. Do not contact the tip of the dropper with any surface to not contaminate the solution. Don't touch the eye with the dropper tip. Do not use in case of eye infections. Do not use other collieries at the same time. Close the bottle well after use. Do not use any residual product. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Keep away from the reach and sight of children. Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or incompatibility known to any component of the preparation.

Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, at temperature between 2°C and 25°C.
Post-opening validation: 30 days.
