Description
Veterinary products for dogs, cats, non-DPA horses and affection rabbits consisting of a sterile, isotonic saline solution, with N-acetylcarnosine and carboxyethylcellulose indicated to protect, hydrate and lubricate the eye surface.
The addition of glycerin favours the extraction of water from the eye tissues (hydrating action) resulting in the formation of a thin aqueous film on the corneal surface that in the presence of carboxyethylcellulose is incorporated into the reticle of cellulose polymer, forming a hydrogel with filmogenic and viscoelastic properties with protective action.
The specific concentration of carboxyethylcellulose (0.03%) gives the hydrogel rheological characteristics similar to those of the lacrimal liquid, and a good adhesive capacity on the auricular mucosa; the content of N-acetylcysteine favors the restoration of normal physiological conditions at the eye level counteract the aggression of cell lipid peroxidase.
Thanks to the peculiar qualitative-quantitative composition, ACTASTIL promotes normal epithelial trophism and protects the eye tissues (crystalline, cornea and conjunctiva) in case of situations of eye discomfort such as: prolonged exposure to sunlight, wind, dust, smog and oxidative stress due to environmental factors.
ACTASTIL is a watery solution, perfectly transparent and mescible with the tear fluid in all proportions: has pH and osmolarity value perfectly compatible with the eye tissue and lacrimal liquid, resulting therefore at high degree of tolerance.

Mode of use
Instill 1-2 drops of the solution in the eye, exerting a slight pressure on the body of the bottle. It is advisable to repeat the operation 2-3 times or several times a day. If used in association with other collieries, it is advisable to use in different times to avoid reciprocal dilutions.

Components
Purified water, glycerine, N-acetylcarnosine, carboxytylcellulose 0.3%, chloride sodium, tetraborate dehydrate sodium, disodium edetate, potassium bicarbonate, methyl P-hydroxybenzoate, propile P-hydroxybenzoate.

Warnings
External use. Just for veterinary use. The product is only for ophthalmic use. Do not contact the tip of the dropper with any surface to not contaminate the solution. Don't touch the eye with the dropper tip. Do not use in case of eye infections. Do not use other collieries at the same time. Close the bottle well after use. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. The indicated expiration date refers to the product in intact and properly preserved packaging, Keep away from the reach and view of children. Do not disperse the container in the environment after use. Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or incompatibility known to any component of the preparation.

Conservation
Store in a cool and dry place, at temperature between 2 °C to 25 °C, away from heat sources and direct exposure to sunlight. After opening store the bottle in the refrigerator at 2 °C-8 °C. Do not use any residual product.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
Post-opening validation: 1 month.
