Indications
Mild or moderate ligament instability, senile knee pathology, condromalacia. Ideal for elderly patients in post-operative after knee prostheses.

Mode of use
Untie and loosen the thighs and the calf.
Bring the kneepad in position on the leg, pulling it from the rings located at the top of the hinge rods. If you use the Wraparound version, simply wrap it on the leg, fixing the kneepad at the front of the leg. Place the kneecap so that the hinges are parallel to each other and that the upper part of the circular grooves is aligned to the top of the knee.
Fix the upper thigh band first.
POSITIONATION ONLY GINOCCHIERA VERSION
Folding the knee to 45°, push both hinges towards the back of the leg, as shown in figure. Hold the hinges firmly, fix the lower thigh strap. Then fix the upper band of the calf. PCL POSITION ONLY GINOCCHIERA VERSION
Hold the hinges firmly, fix the upper band of the calf. Before fixing the front strap of the thigh, slightly carry the hinges forward. Make sure the hinges don't exceed the leg median. LOCATION TO THE GINOCCHIERA AND WRAPAROUND
Folding the knee to 45°, push both hinges towards the back of the leg, as shown in figure. Hold the hinges firmly, fix the lower thigh strap and upper calf strap on the back of the leg.

Maintenance and use
If in the course of use it is necessary to tighten the clamps again, tighten them according to the procedure described in the instructions. The straps and padding should be adapted to the physical characteristics of the patient’s limb. The knee pad can be wet in fresh or salty water. If wet in fresh or salted water, remove excess water and rinse in clean water, then let the air dry. Hand wash in cold water (86°F/30°C) with a delicate detergent. Dry exclusively in the air. The hinge mechanism does not require special maintenance during normal use. However, we recommend the application of a dry lubricant, such as Teflon spray, on the internal mechanisms of the hinge. We recommend the use of dry lubricants after use in water. Check the hinge screws periodically and, if necessary, tighten them.

The product is intended to be used by a professional physician, patient or caregiver of the patient. The user must be able to read, understand and be physically able to comply with all the indications, warnings and precautions provided in the instructions for use.
The loss of circulation, the feeling of discomfort experienced by the patient and a new injury to it constitute potential effects caused by the malfunction of the device. ROM settings should not be changed without the supervision of a doctor. This product must be prescribed and applied by a healthcare provider. The frequency and duration of use must be established by the healthcare provider. In case of pain, swelling, sensitivity changes or other unusual reactions during use of the product, please contact your doctor immediately. The support must be well adherent, but must not hinder circulation. Do not use on open wounds. Do not use the device if it is damaged and/or if the package has been opened.
We do not recommend wearing functional knee pads over clothing. To obtain information on restrictions in social and recreational activities, please consult an authorized healthcare provider
