Detergent intimate formulated for proper daily intimate hygiene, gently cleanses and helps to strengthen the natural defenses, thanks to the presence of a prebiotic ingredient of natural derivation. Prebiotics are organic substances, capable of stimulating the growth and/or activity of beneficial bacteria, creating favorable environmental conditions; in particular, they are used as "nutritive source" of "good" bacteria, which are produced by neutralizing pathogenic ones. Vagisil Cosmetic Detergent Intimo Active Defense is particularly indicated when stress, sexual activity, use of contraceptives or pharmaceutical therapies can weaken the beneficial bacterial flora.
