hyperic has sedative and antidepressive properties and as such would perform a spinal toning action and a biocatalyzing action suitable to modify some complex nervous disorders, this remedy has long been used as a tonic on the anxious states thatprovocate tension, insomnia and depression, especially when these syndromes are associated with menopause. The plant is able to treat the affections related to hormonalmodification, such as fatigue. The plant also has antispasmodic properties, astringents and scarrings, in fact, red oil, used topically, has an anti-inflammatory action at the level of mucous membranes and scarring in ulcers, infected wounds and burns.

Components:
essential oil (pinene), hypericin and pseudohypericin, flavonoids.
