Description
It is a herbaceous plant of tuber root, it is cultivated only on the Peruvian Andes between 3,800 and 4,500 m. s.l.m. It is said that its high nutritional and medicinal value is due to its ability to resist the inconveniences of the Puna climate (Altopiano). This Andean cultivation has proven reconstituent, invigorating and stimulating qualities.
