Food complement based on arginine, citrullin, taurine, vitamins C and E, folic acid bacopa and rodiola that helps to counter the oxidative damage produced by free radicals and is indicated to promote better attention, memory and concentration, as well as to promote relaxation and a normal tone of mood in case of mental physical fatigue.(6)
L-Arginine
Arginine is an essential amino acid for the growth of the child, stimulates the pituitary to secrete the G.H. (Grouth Hormone = growth hormone) and prolactin, stimulates pancreas to secrete insulin and glucagon. This amino acid is particularly abundant in breeding cells and reaches 50% in the nucleus of spermatozoa (1-2) . It is metabolized by the liver for hydrolysis. Arginine is used as an adjuvant in dispermies and refractory hyperammoniemies to other conventional treatments. Recently it has been shown that arginine constitutes the fuel of the family of enzymes called NOS (Nitric Oxide Syntethase = Nitric Oxide Sintetase) able to convert it into citrulline freeing nitric oxide (NO), this substance plays an important role in many biological processes:(3) 1) cardiovascular system: acts as vasodilator, promoting the relaxation of the particular blood vessels;
2)Immune system: cytokin-activated macrophages produce high NO amounts to suppress harmful cells, such as bacteria and neoplastic cells;
3)Nervous system: acts as a neurotransmitter both central and peripheral and is involved in apoptosis processes in neurons;
4)Inflammatory process: boosts cyclooxygenase (COX) by promoting the production of pro-inflammatory eicosanoids It's a tonic used in case of abstinence. Its biological activity is explicated by an increase in the production of nitric oxide, stimulating the secretion of G.H., delaying muscle fatigue, promoting the synthesis of ATP and phosphocreatine.
Taurin (1-2)
Taurine performs detoxifying and antioxidant action, especially on the liver, it also exposes tonic-stimulating action on the body.
Vitamin C (1)
Antioxidant-stimulating vitamin. An adequate supply of vitamin C improves the absorption of iron, thus promoting the transport of oxygen by the blood and consequently has a tonic effect on the body.
Vitamin E (1)
Vitamin E protects the body's tissues from harmful reactions (peroxidations) that originate both during normal metabolic processes and following external toxic agents. In particular, its protective action is manifested on the cardiovascular system, on the nervous and muscular system. It also protects vitamin A from oxidation.
Folic acid (1)
Folic acid, vitamin of group B, ensures proper maturation of red blood cells, plays an important role in the regulation of the genetic code of cells. (Assumption by pregnant women contributes to the proper development of the nervous system and the reproductive apparatus of the nascituro).
Bacopa monnieri extract dry (20% bacosidi) (4)
The bacopa, acting by enhancing protein synthesis in the hippocampus, a region of the instrumental brain in long-term storage. According to the Nobel Prize Dr Robert Furchgott, Bacopa is able to increase the production of nitrogen monoxide (NO), a chemical messenger of essential importance. Under stress conditions associated with sleep deprivation, bacopa administration leads to a reduction in glutamate concentrations and an increase in GABA in different parts of the SNC. The anxiety levels are reduced by about 20% and mental fatigue has decreased. Serotonin levels (an inhibitor neurotransmitter) are increased. The ability of the bacopa to influence psychoneurological functions associated with intellectual behavior opens interesting new perspectives.
Rodiola dry extract (1% salidroside) (5)
The adaptogenic action, favouring in general the learning and memory skills, well known by Siberian popular medicine, were scientifically tested with the use of total hydro-alcoholic extracts in different studies, published in accredited journals already in the 1970s. These properties are traceable to the presence of phenylpropanoidic glycosides, in particular salidroside and rosavidine, whose chemical structure is similar to that of syringine (eleuteroside B), one of the active ingredients of aluterococcus. The salidroside has also shown an anabolic effect increasing work capacity and organic performance. Rodiola produces an increase in the plasma concentration of beta-endorfine that prevents the indicative hormonal variations of stress, shows a cardioprotective effect and improves the body's resistance to toxins.

Mode of use
