Karos Gola tablets, thanks to the moisturizing and protective film that forms with saliva, is indicated in all cases of inflamed oral mucosa, such as: oral cavity and first respiratory tract (such as pharyngitis and pharyngitis, both in acute and chronic phase); sore throat; dry cough; difficulty in swallowing; moreover, thanks to its barrier action, it reduces the flogosis of the vocal cords, improves the viscoelastic properties and reduces raucedine and disphony.
Also thanks to its barrier action, Karos Gola pads is also indicated as a coadjuvant in the processes of reepitelization, for example in the presence of gastric reflux and in patients subjected to oral wire radiotherapy.
The hydrogel that is formed in association with saliva when Karos Gola tablets is dissolved in the mouth, settles as a protective film on the inflamed mucosa of mouth and pharynx, favoring the healing process of mucosa.

Package content
The package of Karos Gola tablets contains: 1 Aluminium pipe containing 20 tablets to dissolve in the mouth, lemon taste.

Composition
Carbomer, xantana gum, sodium hyaluronate, mannitol, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sorbitol, citric acid, aspartame, vitamin C, aroma, dihydrate zinc citrate.

Frequency and mode of use
Children aged between 6 and 10: 1 pill every 4 + 5 hours; do not exceed the dose of 3 tablets per day.
Adults and children over 10 years: 1 pill every 2 + 3 hours; do not exceed the dose of 6 tablets per day.
Let slowly dissolve in the mouth the crayon of Karos Gola.
Karos Gola tablets should not be chewed or swallowed whole.

Warnings
Do not use Karos Gola pills after the expiration date shown on the package.
The expiry date is for the last day of the month.
Do not use Karos Gola pads if packing is open or damaged.
Before using Karos Gola pads in children older than 6 years old, you must check the actual ability of the child to suck the pill, avoiding the risk that the pill can be swallowed entirely.
Ask the pharmacist how to eliminate Karos Gola pills that no longer uses; do not throw Karos Gola tablets in the waste water and in household waste, this will help to protect the environment.

Interactions
Tell the doctor or pharmacist if he is taking, he has recently taken or could take any other medicine, since Karos Gola tablets forms a hydrogel film, which can delay the absorption of other medicines.
In addition Karos Gola tablets contains zinc, which can reduce the effect of other medicines.
We recommend a 3-hour interval between taking Karos Gola and other medicines.

Contraindications and side effects
Do not use Karos Gola pills in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components.
Do not use Karos Gola pills in case it suffers from dry mouth (e.g. Sjogren syndrome).
Do not use Karos Gola pills in children under 6 years old.
Karos Gola pills contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanin, which can be harmful to people suffering from phenylchetonuria.
Karos Gola pills contains sorbitol: in case of intolerance to certain sugars, consult the Medico or the pharmacist before use.
Excessive consumption of Karos Gola tablets can cause laxative effects.
