Description
Medical device in the form of chewable tablets, characterized mainly by the association of 3 elements: calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide and symeticons.
The product, once reached in the gastro-esophageal lumen, neutralizes the pH of gastric juices and acid vapours, explicating a protective and soothing action of the gastro-esophageal mucosa. This allows for ZENTIVA ACIDITY AND REFLUSSO to act quickly against pain and heartburn due to hyperacidity. The presence of symeticons, a substance that has the ability to decrease the surface tension of the gas bubbles present in the gastrointestinal tract facilitating the expulsion, reduces the feeling of swelling and abdominal distension.
Indicated in the treatment of burning and stomach pain caused by excess acidity and in the treatment of symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux.
The product is also useful in case of difficulty of digestion, burning and heaviness (sintoms associated with dyspepsia).
Pleasant chamomile taste.

Ingredients
Calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, symeticons, sodium citrate, magnesium stearate, aromatic extract of chamomile, hydroxypropylcellulose, maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, sucralose.
Without gluten.
Without lactose.

Mode of use
Adults and children older than 12 years: it is recommended to take a tablet in need (in case of burning and/or pain) to be taken after main meals and in the evening before bedtime. Chew well before swallowing.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 4 tablets per day.

Warnings
Product not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components.
In case of unwanted reactions suspend treatment and consult your doctor.
The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medicines. It is therefore recommended to consult the doctor in the event of simultaneous intake of oral medicines, which should in any case be administered at a distance of at least 2 hours. Do not use the product for more than 2 weeks. In case of further need consult the doctor.
This product contains a sodium amount of about 28 mg, calcium of about 333 mg and magnesium equal to about 50 mg per single dose of intake (equal to 1 tablet of 2.4 g).
Do not use in case of pathologies or dysfunctions at the renal apparatus. Consult your doctor in case of hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium in the blood), hypermagnesemia (high levels of magnesium in the blood), nephrocalcinosis and renal calculations containing calcium.
Following the intake of the product, mild and transient side effects can occur, such as swelling, abdominal pain, eruption, flatulence, constipation. Compliance with instructions for use reduces the risk of unwanted side effects. There are no contraindications to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding but it is recommended in any case to ask for advice from the doctor before use.
Do not use if the package is open or damaged, or in the presence of visible alterations of the appearance of the tablets.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

Conservation
Keep out of reach and sight of children. The product must be kept at a temperature between 8°C and 25°C, in a cool and dry place and away from heat sources. The expiry date refers to the product in intact and properly preserved packaging.
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
Do not store compressed parts for later use. Do not throw the product into the waste water and household waste. Ask the pharmacist how to delete the products he no longer uses. This will help protect the environment.
