Description
The PESSARIO LATEX FREE is a transparent silicone ring and is intended to contain the uterine prolapse. It is indicated to women aged 18 to 90. It excludes use in pregnant or nursing women and pediatric patients.
The device must be prescribed and placed exclusively by specialized and qualified medical personnel in the gynecological field, in public or private health facilities and hospitals. The device is sterile and therefore its manipulation by medical personnel, before placement, must take place according to aseptic procedures.
The medical staff is responsible for:
- prescribe the device;
- prescribe the most suitable device measurement for the patient;
- prescribe to the patient the time of continuous use of the device;
- prescribe the frequency of controls to which the patient is required to submit;
- frequently check the positioning of the device as well as the status of the application seat.

Mode of use
The device is sterile and therefore its manipulation by medical personnel, before placement, must take place according to aseptic procedures.
Insert the pessary by overcoming the ostio-vaginal ambush, bending the ellipse ring to facilitate its entry. Insert the Device by looking for the neck of the uterus.
To facilitate the entry, the lubricant gel can be used.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the Device is inserted correctly.

Warnings
- Avoid contact with free flames and glowing objects: could damage the device.
- Avoid contact with sharp and/or sharp objects and tools that could damage the physical integrity of the device.
- Do not use in combination with other medical devices.
- The use of the device in conjunction with the use of localized drugs must be approved by medical personnel.
- The device is disposable: once removed by medical staff, it must be disposed of.
- Do not use for times greater than those prescribed by medical staff.
- Do not reuse and/or resterilize as the disposable product. The reuse of the device determines a high risk of bacterial contamination and crusade infection.
- If the device is not intact or damaged immediately without using it.
- Any serious accidents occurring in relation to this medical device must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the country where the user or patient is established.
- Do not use on patients with proven allergy or silicone sensitivity.
- Do not use on pregnant or nursing women under 18 years of age.
- Do not use in the presence of pelvic infections or lacerations.

Conservation
To maintain the correct storage of the device over time it is recommended to always use the original packaging in a dry environment with temperatures between +1 °C and +40 °C, not in direct contact with heat sources, sheltered from dusts and harmful materials.
Validity of packaging: 60 months.
