Description
Biatain Fiber is a gelling fiber characterized by the HexaLock Technology, and consists of pure sodium carboxytylcellulose (100% NaCMC) welded in hexagonal units, with non-woven fabric structure (TNT), for greater tensile strength and excellent exudence management.
Thanks to the HexaLock Technology, when Biatain Fiber is applied on the lesion, and comes into contact with the exodus of the wound, the fibers of NaCMC gel, the soft gel formed absorbs vertically and believes both the exodus and the bacteria contained in it.
Biatain Fiber, gelling, perfectly conforms to the bed of injury creating an ideal humid environment that favors healing. Moreover, it facilitates removal of non-vital fabric by activating fibrinolysis and favoring autolithic debridement. Sterilized with gamma rays. Manufactured without natural rubber latex. It does not contain Ftalati. Disposable product.

Mode of use
Biatain Fiber can be used on all types of chronic or acute lesions with medium-abundant exodus, such as lower limb ulcers, decubite lesions, diabetic ulcers, burns of 1 and 2 degree, cutaneous withdrawal zones for transplants, superficial wounds and abrasions, surgical or traumatic wounds that repair for second intention, cancerous wounds. Biatain Fiber is cut out in every direction and can also be used under compressed therapy. Maximum stay time in situ: 7 days.

Warnings
No undesirable contraindication and/or reaction notes if the product is correctly used following the indications of use. In case of allergic reactions, please contact Coloplast for information on components. The product does not contain any ecotoxic components, therefore it does not require special disposal protocols. Do not disperse in the environment as not completely biodegradable.

Conservation
Store at room temperature (25°C).
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
