Medication consisting of a layer of highly absorbent polyurethane foam, a breathable polyurethane film, water-proof and bacteria-proof and a perforated polyurethane film that does not fit in contact with the wound.
The absorbed liquids are uniformly distributed within the foam that then perfectly conforms to the bed of the lesion promoting the ideal environment for the healing process.
The high absorption capacity of PU foam allows to reduce the number of changes ensuring comfort to the patient and a reduction of the costs in wound management.
The particular “flat-sided” structure facilitates the application of a secondary fastening dressing (shoulder patch, polyurethane-Euroderm or euroderm roll or cohesive bandage) and guarantees additional protection from the leakage of liquids.
The thickness of the foam creates the bearing effect that reduces pressure on the lesion, contrasts any friction forces and thus ensures comfort and protection to the patient.
In the presence of necrotic tissue or fibrinose lesions, use is recommended in combination with Hydromed gel.
The dressing can stay in situ until 7 days. The exchange rate is linked to the type of injury, to the amount of exudate and to the clinical conditions.

Indications
- Pressure drops from 1st to 4th stage
- Post-operative wounds
- Vascular injuries
- 1st and 2nd degree burns
- Particularly fragile and delicate perilesional skin injuries
- Skin picking sites

Destination
