Description
Four-layer multilayered absorbent medicine in polyurethane foam, with edge, Safetac soft silicone contact layer and woven structure with Flex Technology.
1)Highly breathable and liquid-proof polyurethane outer coat. It provides a barrier for bacteria. The new dotted grid on the outside film allows to trace the distribution of the exudate without removing the dressing.
2) Distribution layer made of nonwoven fabric cracked thanks to the use of Flex Technology. It distributes the exudate evenly over the entire surface to maximize fluid management capacity.
3) Open-cell polyurethane absorbent foam layer for vertical absorption Instantly absorbs the exudate and prevents the return, for protection of the perilesional skin even under elastocompression.
4) Contact layer with Safetac Soft Silicone Lesion. Soft silicone technology, Safetac applied to Mölnlycke medications, minimizes pain to patients and injury to injury even in critical situations, or when exudate begins to dry:
- adapts to the irregular surface of the skin to create a greater contact area, which allows better distribution of the force necessary for removal, preventing skin stripping;
- leave no residue on the bed of the lesion or on the healthy skin;
- seals the margins of the lesion, avoiding the exudate to spread on the perilesional skin, minimizing the risks of maceration;
- does not adhere to wet surfaces, such as open wounds but to dry edges of injury.
Mepilex Border Flex Lite is suitable for managing a wide range of injuries from non-existent to moderately exudatory, such as:
- pressure ulcers;
- lower limb ulcers;
- post-operative injuries;
- trauma injuries, such as abrasions, blisters and skin lacerations;
- can also be used to protect the skin smooth and/or delicate.
Product features:
1. The proven Safetac technology minimizes trauma from removal, protects perilesional skin, thus preventing maceration.
2. Flex proprietary technology ensures excellent conformation, the dressing is able to extend to 360° to support body movements and prevent the dressing from falling.
3. It can be left in situ for several days in relation to the condition of wound and perilesional skin.
4. It can be removed and repositioned without losing its microadhesion characteristics.
5. It maintains a perfect grip even in the shower.
6. With less damage to injury and skin, it minimizes pain in the change of dressing.
7. It can also be used as part of a prophylactic therapy to help prevent skin damage, e.g. decubital ulcers.
8. Proprietary protective film, divided into 3 parts for the largest size, for a precise and safe application, for a time saving and reduction of waste.

10. It maintains structural integrity and leaves no residue in the wound or surrounding skin.

Warnings
Do not use in patients sensitive to components. The product is generally well tolerated. No interaction detected with other substances.
In case of sensitization of the treated area or clinical signs of infection, consult the health care staff for an idyllic infection contrast therapy.
Do not use together with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide (oxygenated water).
In case of infected wounds, use under medical control is recommended.
The polyurethane foam used in the product can change yellowing color when exposed to light, air and/or heat. Color change does not affect the properties of the product, if used within the expiry date.
Don't reuse. Reuse of the product can compromise its effectiveness and cause crusade contamination.

Conservation
Store in a dry place at a temperature below 35°C (95°F) protected from extreme conditions of moisture, dust, pollutants, etc.
Validity of whole packaging: 36 months.
