MULTISTRATE COMPRESITION WELCOME

Directions:
to treat venous ulcers of the lower limb and complications associated with them.

How to use:
apply Profore according to the following sequence:
- Profore WCL sterile layer in contact with the wound: apply by extracting it from the package using a sterile clamp and keep it in place until it is covered with Profore #1.
- Profore # 1 natural absorbent bandage: apply from the metatarsal heads to the knee using a spiral technique with 50% overlap. The bandage is not tense.
- Profore # 2 cotton crepe bandage: apply from the metatarsal heads to the knee, overlapping it to Profore #1 with spiral technique and 50% overlap. Use a patch to fix it.
- Profore # 3 high elasticity light compression bandage: apply from the metatarsal heads to the knee using a voltage and a 50% overlap. Refer to the yellow line as a guide for the correct overlap. Fix the dressing with plaster.
- Profore # 4 flexible cohesive bandage: apply from the metatarsal heads to the knee; the bandage should be applied with a spiral technique, a voltage and a 50% overlap. Exercise a slight pressure to ensure that the bandage adheres perfectly to itself. Apply the bandage quickly on the foot to reduce any expansion of the material on the front of the ankle.

Warnings:
if the patient should feel a feeling of pain, cold or paresthesia in a distant position compared to the bandage, this must be immediately removed. It is important to carefully evaluate the size and shape of the limb, because the system does not protect vulnerable areas from excessive pressure in patients with very thin legs or prominent tibial ridges, unless you use an additional amount of Profore natural absorbent bandage.
The multilayer bandaging system kit should not be used on arteropathic patients (with an ankle/brace index below 0.8) or on diabetic patients with advanced microangiopathy.
