Description
Medical device for treating finger injuries.
Medical device in the form of tubular headdress with closed end, disposable and internally coated with oily gel.
Thanks to the creation of a microenvironment favorable to the activation of the microcirculation and at the same time unfavourable to the proliferation of pathogens combined with the protective, barrier and soothing actions of olive oil enriched with oxygen promotes the healing of lesions and their proper scarring.
The form of NovoX Touch Pocket is specifically designed to adapt to the anatomy of fingers, both hands and feet.
Expected to treat the following finger injuries:
- Surface burns.
- Cuts and wounds of limited depth and extension.
- Surface injuries (abrasions, and escoriations).
Non-sterile medical device, however, the possible contamination of the lesion does not constitute a contraindication to the use of the device as evidence has shown that the oil enriched with oxygen has intrinsic capacity to create an environment unfavorable to the proliferation of pathogenic agents commonly present on the skin lesions and therefore is intrinsically protected against contamination by such pathogenic agents. It is suggested, as a precaution, to clean and, if possible, always disinfect the lesions before applying the device.

Mode of use
It must be replaced at least once every 48 hours.
Choose the size best suited to the size of the application area, verifying that the entire lesion area can be covered.
For post-surgical wounds, it is recommended to apply it immediately after the injury suture.
1. Before applying the device, wash and disinfect your hands thoroughly, if this is not possible to wear disposable gloves to handle the device.
2. Clean and, if possible, disinfect the lesion area, taking care to dry the excess disinfectant.
3. Open the package containing the device.
4. Extract the device taking care not to touch the impregnated inner part that will contact the wounds.
5. Make sure the length of the device is enough to cover the lesion zone. The possible excess length can be cut, after careful disinfection of the tools used (or using sterile tools), taking care not to damage the support or the internal and external coating fabrics. It is possible to cut the device even in order to remove the closed end, in case it is not necessary to protect the end of the finger.
6. Stick the device on the finger paying attention to not overshaping or bending the device itself and verifying that there is a proper adherence to the area to be treated.

Warnings
It should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity or previous allergic reaction to the device or its components.
Use should be avoided in case of previous severe skin reactions to the application of medications.
Use must be subject to medical evaluation in case of hypersensitivity known to medications.
It was not specifically tested on pregnant women. However, it is a topical device that has no systemic effects and consequently there are no contraindications to use during pregnancy. If you are or suspect to be pregnant, we suggest you ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using the device.

Conservation
Store at temperatures below 25°C, in a cool and dry place away from heat sources. In case of high ambient temperatures it is recommended to store the product in the refrigerator (2-8°C).
Validity of whole packaging: 24 months.
