Urgosorb Silver

Indications
Urgosorb ® is indicated for the local treatment of exudate and bleeding of wounds, slough and granulation phases.
Urgosorb rope ® is indicated in the local treatment of cavity wounds.

Posology and methods of use
-Clean the wound with saline solution.
-Carefully dry the surrounding skin with a sterile tablet.
-If an antiseptic first use, thoroughly wash the wound with saline solution before applying Urgosorb ®.
-Choose the appropriate size of the Urgosorb ® so as to leave at least 1 or 2 cm of the dressing that cover healthy skin around the wound.
-Apply Urgosorb ® directly to the wound.
-For deep wounds or tunnels (ulcere from anfractuous pressure, pilonidal breast), apply Urgosorb rope ® freely without applying any excessive pressure.
-Cover Urgosorb ® with secondary dressing: two layers of compress and a slightly narrow banding or adhesive tape.
-Urgosorb ® must be changed when it is saturated, especially when the exudate filters through secondary dressing.
-The frequency renewal depends on the exudate level: every day in case of highly exudatory wounds or covered with fibrine-necrotic debris or infected;
-Every 2 days in case of a clean and moderately excending wound.
-In case of leg ulcers, Urgosorb ® can be moistened with saline solution to facilitate removal.

-Urgosorb ® absorbs the exudatory wounds and maintains a humid environment that creates the condition that thehealing process favors.
-Urgosorb ® absorbs only vertically, without any lateral migration of the exudate. The surrounding skin is therefore respected and protected by anyrisk of maceration.
-Urgosorb gel ®, emollient and draining necrotic debris during the phases of slough and granulation of the wet necrosis.
-Urgosorb ® can be removed easily, without pain and at a single stroke.
-Urgosorb ® 's high conformability allows you to instantly adapt to the wound surface.
-Through the activation of platelets, Urgosorb ® dressing room favours the primary hemostasis of acute and chronic bleeding wounds.

Contraindications
Urgosorb ® is contraindicated for the endo-nasal area reno-sused surgery, third degree burns, surgical implants, and control of severe bleeding.

-Incorporation of hydrocolloid particles (carboxes-methyl cellulose) into a calcium alginate fiber network.
