Description
Purilon is a delicate hydrogel composed of natural ingredients, without any additive. It is used for lesions that require an effective and delicate debridement of necrotic tissue thus favouring faster healing.
The combination of moisturizing and absorbent properties* promotes autolitic debridement and healing of lesion in a humid environment**.
The applicator guarantees a controlled, simple and aseptic application, allowing you to use only one hand. The gel can be removed by rinsing.
The viscose consistency of the gel makes it easier to stay in the position where it is applied; even after the absorption of exudate and tissue fragments the gel remains cohesive, avoiding loss and maceration.
Purilon gel moisturizes the necrotic tissue and absorbs the excess exudate, fibrine and tissue fragments from the lesion.

Composition
Purilon gel consists of purified water, carbossimetilcellulose sodium and calcium alginate. Purilon is a very delicate gel as it is composed of natural ingredients, without any additive.

Mode of use
Purilon gel is indicated for dry and necrotic lesions fibrinose, as well as for mixed lesions with necrotic tissue and granulation, such as lower limb ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers not infected; can also be used on burns of first and second degree. The gel can be used throughout the duration of the healing process to ensure the optimal damp environment. Purilon gel should be used together with a secondary dressing.
