Description
Transparent formulation of silicone gel that dries quickly, not sticky, for the treatment of scars both old and new.
Strataderm is easily applied in all epidermal areas, including exposed areas such as face and neck, but also on joints and hair areas without need for shaving.
If used according to the indications, Strataderm dries so as to form a silicone gel film, a protective layer permeable to gas and water resistant that moisturizes and protects scars from chemical and microbial invasions, allowing scars to normalize collagen synthesis cycles and making them mature normally.
Strataderm is used to soften and attenuate scars, relieve itching and discomfort caused by scars as well as reduce redness and discoloration associated with scars.
Strataderm has been developed for use on all types of scars, including those resulting from:
- general surgery and plastic surgery;
- trauma;
- chronic wounds;
- burns;
- bites;
- acne;
- and other skin diseases.

Mode of use
Make sure the scar is clean and dry. Apply a very thin layer of Strataderm on the scar and let it dry.
Strataderm must be applied once a day, or twice a day on the exposed areas or according to the doctor's opinion.
To achieve optimal results, Strataderm must be kept constantly in contact with the skin (24 hours a day/7 days a week).
If applied correctly, Strataderm should dry in 3–4 minutes. If it takes more time to dry, an excessive amount has probably been applied. Gently remove excess quantity with a handkerchief and let the drying process continue.
Once dry, Strataderm can be covered with sunscreens, cosmetics or compressed clothing or chalk.
The recommended minimum duration of treatment with Strataderm is 60–90 days (24 hours a day/7 days a week). Older and older scars can take longer.
It recommends continuous use until further improvements are made.

Warnings
Only for external use. Strataderm should not be applied on third-degree burns or on open wounds.
Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes.
Strataderm should not be applied to other epidermal treatments without the medical advice.
Strataderm can stain clothes, if not completely dry. In case of coloring, dry cleaning should be able to remove it without damaging the fabric. For proper storage, please close the tube with the appropriate cap. In case of irritation, stop use and consult your doctor.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date.
