Description
Idrogel hydroactive transparent amorphous containing sodium alginate that gently and effectively binds the necrotic tissue of the wound and the fibrinous necrotic tissue.
The Nu-Gel hydrogel with alginate creates a damp environment for wound healing, which helps the natural autolithic debridement by favoring the wet healing of the wound, while the alginate component improves its absorption capabilities. The gel can also be used to soften and moisturize the escara by facilitating rehydration.
Nu-Gel Idrogel is indicated for the quickening and removal of slough wounds along with the management of chronic wounds during all stages of the healing process.

Mode of use
1. Clean the wound thoroughly.
2. Remove the label from the accordion box by pulling the label as indicated.
3. Remove the cap and swab the spout with a suitable antiseptic buffer.
4. Rotate to remove the tab.
Nu-Gel Idrogel can be applied on the wound simply using one hand.
- Keep the accordion box in one hand and apply Nu-Gel Idrogel in the wound site with a uniform pressure at the base of the accordion box with the thumb or palm of the hand. The tip of the spout must be kept away from the surface of the wound.
- Apply Nu-Gel Idrogel on all wound to a depth of at least 1⁄4 inch (5 mm).
- Cover with a secondary dressing suitable for exudate level.
- Any unused gel must be thrown away.
Application time: from a minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 3 days.

Components
- Sodium alginate 3%.
- Carbossimetil cellulose (CMC) 1%.
- Hydroxyethylcellulose 0.35%.
- Sodium chloride 0.30%.
- propylene glycol, 25% p/p.
- Distilled water 70,35%.

Conservation
It is recommended to store the product at room temperature between 15 and 30 °C, sheltered from extreme conditions of humidity, dust, pollutants, etc.
