Description
Multi-layered cutting-edge, adhesive polyurethane foam with alveolar structure, accompanied by a layer of hydrofibre, an external polyurethane film and a layer of adhesive silicone (hypoallergenic) perforated. The layer of mixed-cell polyurethane is highly hydrophilic, absorbent, considering the exudated and breathable. Hydrofiber Technology Layer AQUACEL Foam Pro to vertically absorb the exudate, hold it and instantly form a soft gel that keeps the optimal humid environment and promotes healing by reducing the risk of maceration of the perilesional skin, even under compression. The breathable outdoor film promotes the permeability of vapours and gases, but at the same time creates a waterproof barrier to fluids, viruses and bacteria protecting the injury from external contamination.
The perforated silicone adhesive layer, which extends over the entire surface of the dressing including the edges, is extremely delicate to the removal, atraumatic, thin, repositionable and is designed for a lasting stay in situ avoiding the curling of the dressing in contact with clothes or surfaces. The dressing is highly flexible and conforms to the different anatomical parts of the body.
suitable for use in lesions from poorly to medium exudatory and as skin protection. For example:
- traumatic injuries (abrasions and lacerations);
- chronic wounds: lower limb ulcers (venus ulcers, arterial ulcers and mixed etiology ulcers), diabetic ulcers, partial and thick pressure ulcers;
- acute wounds: surgical wounds and skin picking areas.
It can be used both as primary and secondary medicine.
Medication can be used for preventive purposes as protection of healthy skin from damage minimizing cutting and friction forces.

Mode of use
Choose a form and size dressing that the central absorbent pad completely covers the lesion area. The dressing can be kept in situ up to 7 days or removed first if clinically necessary for full saturation or other requirement. It can be used as a primary or secondary dressing in association with other products, and can be cut in shape and measure according to the indications of the healthcare provider. Replace the dressing when the change of color, due to the absorption of the exudate, is about to reach the outer margin of the tampon.

Conservation
Protect from light sources, store in a dry place at room temperature (10°C – 25°C).
